The Preserve Village is concentrated along the serpentine White Herons Lane as you enter this waterfront community. Its focal point lies in a free form lake with its two high arching fountains. At the east end of White Herons Lane, several building sites have spectacular vistas of Lake Meade. As you travel back to the west, the building sites overlooking the lake are extremely elevated, providing majestic settings for future homes. All but just a few lots in the Preserve back to heavily wooded areas that afford privacy and a true connection to nature.
The Reserve is a small enclave accessed by the entrance road to Heron’s Point but once entered becomes a world unto itself. Mature trees are found to the north side of this private village that allows for one way in and one way out. Vehicular traffic will mostly be limited to residents and their guests. Situated to the rear of the street ending cul de sac is the Heron’s Point Nature Trail leading to an observation deck overlooking a stream that runs into Lake Meade. What a perfect setting for a brisk walk on a crisp fall day or a bottle of wine shared among friends. The Reserve at Heron’s Point offers a safe and quiet respite to the hustle and bustle of the outside world and that is a very good thing.
The Estuary is found near the center of Heron’s Point, surrounded mostly by a canopy of mature trees populated with a vast array of local and migratory birds. A nine acre parcel of protected land has been set aside to the north west corner of The Estuary for Heron’s Point resident Bald Eagle who can often be seen foraging for their young in their own natural habitat. The focal Point of this village is found in the large pond which is considered home to fish and fowl alike.
Whether you consider a pond front home to fish in your own backyard or want the privacy afforded by the surrounding tree buffer, The Estuary is a nature lovers dream. With the change of the Seasons you will wake up each day to a new sound, a new smell, a new look….. a new you.
The Sanctuary is designated as the “Estate Village” at Heron’s Point. This Peninsula stretches into the 512 acre Lake Meade providing elevated building sites with breathtaking views. Fifteen of seventeen lots in The Sanctuary are adjacent to the Lake Meade shoreline and may be eligible for dock construction by special permit. Each home in The Sanctuary will be custom built to meet the specific needs and desires of their owners. Minimum size limitations will exist to maintain property values.
Be among the very few to call The Sanctuary home and enjoy Lake front living at its very best.
